Veronika Kruse (they/them or she/her) is a physicist at Lawrence Livermore National Laboratory (LLNL), where they work on theoretical atomic calculations relevant to the opacity of materials in conditions like stellar environments or those achieved by high energy density science facilities, such as the NIF.

She is an APS Career Mentoring Fellows and loves to share their experiences with students on creating their own path in physics. Veronika also serves on the Pride ERG leadership team and is the inertial fusion energy workforce and outreach coordinator.
