    Dr. Eleanor Sayre is a program officer in the Division of Undergraduate Education in the Directorate for STEM Education. She is a rotating program officer, which means that she has home appointments as a Professor of Physics at Kansas State University and a Research Affiliate at Rochester Institute of Technology, from which she is on leave while she serves at the NSF. Dr. Sayre has been an active member of the physics education research community for over 20 years. Her portfolio at the NSF focuses on researchers and institutions who are new to education funding. Outside of work, Eleanor is an avid potter and knitter.
