Ashley Walker is an astrochemist, planetary scientist, science communicator, and advocate.

    Ashley Walker (she/they) is an astrochemist, planetary scientist, science communicator, and advocate. She received her B.S. in chemistry from Chicago State University. Currently, she is a rising fourth year doctoral student at Howard University in the Howard University Graduate Program in Atmospheric Sciences (HUPAS) and the recipient of the NASA FINESST - Future Investigators in NASA Earth, Space Science, and Technology award. Her doctoral research is based on the evolution of clouds and hazes on ice giant planet atmospheres, Uranus and Neptune. She advocates for students of color and is the founder and president of Black In Astro.
