Student Ambassadors

Be the voice for physics by building an inclusive community at your college or university.

We are currently enhancing the APS Student Ambassador Program to better serve our community and enrich the experience for all participants. During this period, we will temporarily pause accepting new applications as we implement significant improvements.

We appreciate your patience and enthusiasm as we work towards relaunching the program. Please check back in early 2025 for updates and the opening of our new application cycle.

What do student ambassadors do?

At colleges and universities around the world, student ambassadors:

  • Gain leadership experience through exclusive programs and events
  • Advocate for physics at their school
  • Network with physicists to improve their career preparedness
  • Support their community by sharing resources with their peers

Any undergraduate or graduate student with at least a year left in their studies can apply.
