In this webinar, panelists discuss how they create their podcasts, how they determined that a podcast was a good medium to engage the public, and important tips and tricks to help get you started on your own podcast.
We will be joined by Tamia Williams, a multi-hyphenate science communicator. She has published work in Physics World magazine, writes scripts for the very popular YouTube channel Physics Girl, and is the co-host of the podcast Gather Round and Grow, which discusses topics from professional growth to mental health. Our second panelist is Shelly Lesher, PhD, a Yale presidential visiting scholar and a fellow of the American Physical Society. She is also a professor of physics at the University of Wisconsin-La Crosse and the host of the podcast My Nuclear Life. Finally, we have Elias Aydi, a physics and astronomy research associate at Michigan State University, working on multi-wavelength studies of classical novae. He has also published work with the popular IFLScience blog and with NASA and is the host of the podcast Lebanese Astro-Podcast.
