APS Quantum Information Symposium (QIS)
APS is excited to introduce the inaugural APS Quantum Information Symposium (QIS), brought to you by the APS Division of Quantum Information. This new meeting brings together researchers, engineers, industry, startups, national laboratories, government, and the next generation of quantum scientists.
QIS is intentionally designed to go deeper, not simply bigger. A highly curated scientific program reflects the community’s evolving needs, creating opportunities for deeper scientific exchange, interdisciplinary collaboration, and meaningful connection across the quantum ecosystem.
What to expect
Every part of the symposium is built to help ideas and people connect.
- Discover the science shaping what’s next
Engage with invited scientific sessions and carefully selected contributed presentations spanning foundational research, emerging technologies, and interdisciplinary perspectives. - Connect research with application
Hear from industry and scientific leaders exploring commercialization, workforce development, technology translation, research partnerships, and emerging challenges across quantum science and technology. - Build connections by design
Networking isn’t an afterthought. Dedicated discussion time, community events, mentor opportunities, lunch with the experts, lounges, receptions, and other built-in experiences will create space for conversations to continue throughout the meeting.
Who will attend
APS Quantum Information Symposium will connect communities working across:
Quantum information • Quantum computing • AMO physics • Condensed matter • Materials science • Photonics • Engineering • Quantum hardware • Quantum software • Networking • Quantum sensing and metrology • And more
Whether you work in academia, industry, a startup, a national laboratory, or government, QIS is an opportunity to encounter ideas and collaborators you may not find within a single discipline or sector.
Exhibitor and sponsor opportunities
High value brand engagements and exhibit space will be available. Contact APS Exhibit and Sponsorship Manager at cooke@aps.org to start the conversation now.
