Is there family health insurance for graduate students? If so, is it included in the stipend?

Emory University requires that all degree-seeking and all international students either have health insurance or purchase the University-sponsored plan.

In order to meet this requirement, you must either choose to enroll in the Emory University Student Health Insurance Plan (EUSHIP) or successfully complete the waiver process online.
The annual premium for 2018-19 is $3,466.

Graduate students insurance is not included in their stipend. Spouse and children can be covered, but the student will have to cover the cost.
