The American Physical Society has launched The Physics Archive, a product that will grant universities, libraries, and other organizations immediate and permanent access to 120 years of research articles published in the world-renowned Physical Review journals.

The journal articles covered in The Physics Archive span those published from 1893 through 2012. Articles are segmented by journal and copyright year, allowing customers to purchase portions of the scientific literature as it suits their collection strategies and budget needs.

The one-time purchase grants perpetual access to these journal articles on any PDF- or XML-capable device for an unlimited number of affiliated and authorized users, including off-site collaborators. There are no hosting, access, or other ongoing fees of any sort.
