APS Mid-Atlantic Senior Physicists Group

Welcome to the APS Mid-Atlantic Senior Physicists Group web site. The purpose of the site is to provide for quick, timely and comprehensive communications for the Group. This is supported by a documented history of the Group's past activities as well as a presentation of the future planned activities of the Group.

This web site is in its initial stages and, as such, is under construction. However, at the present time, there is a reasonably complete picture of the past activities during the years of 2005 and 2006 and the current and planned activities for 2007. The ultimate goal is to have a complete history from the Group's inception in 1997 to the present. This will not only present a comprehensive picture of the Group and its activities but also provide a background for possible future activities. In this regard, people should brouse through the Group's past with the view of seeing what might need updating.

Input on this web site from the Group membership is always welcome. This provides a vital link for the Group to operate more effectively and efficiently. Please let us know your suggestions and opinions.

Other Senior Physicists Groups

We are not aware of any other senior physicists groups. However, we are always interested in encouraging and assisting others in this kind of activity. As other regional senior physicists groups are formed and organized, we would be pleased to provide the information, contacts and links to these groups. Also, if people are aware of other related Physicists Groups (with web sites if known), they should let us know so that we can include the information here for the general membership.
