A Long and Distinguished Career

Maurice Goldhaber, shown here in a photo from 2003, turned 100 years old this year on April 18, and died on May 11 as APS News was going to press. He served as APS President in 1982, one of many accomplishments over a long and distinguished career.

APS was there too, together with its partners, the American Association of Physics Teachers (AAPT) and the American Institute of Physics' Society of Physics Students.
