In January, 11 teams of scientists and science educators from around the country participated in the Third Elementary Science Education Reform Institute.

Electron Centennial Broadcast in April
A student-oriented symposium on the centennial of the electron will be broadcast live via satellite from Central Michigan University on Wednesday, April 9, 1997.
