Background:

Emma is a versatile and dynamic educator and administrative professional. She taught in both public and independent school systems educating students from grades 4 to 9. Bookending her teaching years, Emma held multiple positions at Perimeter Institute for Theoretical Physics, working across various departments including finance, facilities, conference programs, outreach, and serving as the Executive Assistant to the COO. Across these roles, she demonstrated her exceptional organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to facilitate high-level executive operations. While Emma's career path led her through a spectrum of responsibilities, her true passion has always been education. In her role as the Educational Outreach Program Manager at the Perimeter Institute, she was given the opportunity to engage with physics teachers from across the world. She found immense fulfillment in supporting educators as they brought the wonders of physics to life in their classrooms. Emma holds an Honours Bachelor of Arts degree from Wilfrid Laurier University and a Bachelor of Education from the Schulich School of Education.
