We are proud to announce that the American Physical Society has established a new section that will serve the District of Columbia, Delaware, Maryland, New Jersey, Pennsylvania, and West Virginia. The new Mid-Atlantic Section (M-AS) is a unit of the APS with the goal to strengthen the physics community in its region and to aid APS in its mission to advance and diffuse the knowledge of physics at the regional level.  

Please help us inaugurate the Mid-Atlantic Section by joining us at our Roll Out Reception: Wednesday 20 March 5:30–7 pm at the 2013 March Meeting in Baltimore to learn more about the Section and get to know some of your local colleagues!
