General Information

The Division of Plasma Physics (DPP) annual meeting will be held in the heart of downtown Denver, Colorado from 8:00 am Monday morning through 12:30 pm Friday afternoon. All technical sessions will be held in the Sheraton Denver Downtown Hotel (Meeting Headquarters). The Sheraton is centrally located in Denver's financial and business districts at 1550 Court Place, Denver, Colorado 80202. The hotel is situated along a mile-long tree-lined promenade featuring outdoor bistros, microbreweries, and entertainment putting you in the center of a fascinating mountain city.

The Sheraton Hotel is conveniently reachable from the Denver International Airport (DEN); about 27 miles distance. There are numerous ground transportation options available from the Denver Airport Jeppesen Terminal.

Nominations for Invited, Review, or Tutorial Talks

Passed Deadline: Wednesday, May 15

The invited, review, and tutorial talk nominations deadline has passed.

Speakers who are selected for invited, review, or tutorial talks will be emailed a letter of invitation to speak by Friday, June 21. The letter will include the web address for invited abstract online submission. The deadline for receipt of invited abstracts is Friday, July 12 at 5:00 pm EDT. Invited speakers should refer to their invitation letter for complete submission instructions.

The mini-conference proposal deadline has passed.

Satellite Meetings

Requests for satellite meetings must be received by October 18. Email requests to Vinaya Sathyasheelappa (vinaya@aps.org). Specify the event title, desired date, start time, end time, estimate the number of attendees, describe the room configuration, desired food and beverage service, and necessary AV equipment. Include the requester’s name, address, phone number, email address, and complete billing information. Indicating a second-choice date and time is encouraged.

Note: No satellite meeting shall be held in parallel with any DPP regular sessions or approved mini-conferences.
