DNP is pleased to offer a very limited number of travel grants to encourage graduate student participation in the APS April Meeting 2020 to be held in Washington, DC, April 18-21, 2020. The APS April Meeting provides an excellent opportunity for graduate students in nuclear physics to present their research, to interact with potential employers, and to hear about advances in a broad range of physics topics.
DNP will provide a limited number of travel grants to graduate students who submit an application (with an advisor's supporting letter) and are accepted upon review. The awards will be for the amount of $400. Applications are due on January 10, 2020, using the form prepared by the APS. Students must also complete the application process by Friday, January 31, including having their research advisor submit a letter of support. For more information, contact the DNP Secretary-Treasurer (firstname.lastname@example.org).
Nominees and award and office holders are expected to meet standards of professional conduct and integrity as described in the APS Ethics Guidelines. Violations of these standards may disqualify people from consideration or lead to revocation of honors or removal from office.
