Maia Eubanks

My name is Maia Eubanks and I am an incoming freshman at Rice University.  One of the reasons I have considered a major in physics is that its applications can be applied to a variety of aspects of our daily lives.  I love to discover how things work and also engage in hands-on activities.  Since I possess a genuine enthusiasm for science, I believe that pursuing a major related to this field of study would be a beneficial way to utilize and share my talents in my community.  Moreover, with additional instruction, understanding and experimentation involving various physical applications of our world and universe, I am certain that I will be thoroughly prepared to develop ideas, techniques and innovations that will impact all of humanity for future generations.
