Omid Kokabee

Omid Kokabee, a physics student decalred a prisoner of conscience, was released on parole after serving half of his original 10-year sentence in an Iranian prison. Prior to being paroled, Kokabee was released on medical furlough to remove a cancerous kidney. Kokabee's lawyer stated that his parole could still be revoked, forcing Kokabee to serve the remainder of his sentence.
