Hyer as a Scientist
Hyer's Personality and Character
Since 2009, the Texas Section of the American Physical Society honors each year one or more of individuals that have made a significant contribution to the programs of the Texas Section and/or the Texas Physics community with a Texas Section Distinguished Service Award. A committee consisting of two members and two former recipients recommends one or more awardees and the executive committee votes on their recommendation.
TSAPS offers student travel awards to encourage undergraduate and graduate members to make presentations at our meetings. Students should consult online meeting information for specific details and deadlines.
