Summary

The Mid-Atlantic Senior Physicists Group organized a two-day trip to Philadelphia on April 18-19, 2006. The year 2006 marked the 300th anniversary celebration of Benjamin Franklin's birth. The highlight of the trip was a guided tour of Benjamin Franklin: In Search of a Better World exhibition at the National Constitution Center. In addition. there was a visit to the American Philosophical Society for an informal viewing of their exhibition, The Princess and the Patriot: Ekaterina Dashkova, Benjamin Franklin, and the Age of Enlightenment.
