Meeting Information
January 8-11, 2009
Double Tree Hotel

Dynamics Days is organized to provide an interface for researchers from diverse scientific disciplines but with common interests in nonlinear dynamics, chaos, and complex systems. This meeting has become internationally known for facilitating researchers to share their most recent results in understanding, modeling, and controlling nonlinear dynamical systems. Sessions will cover a broad range of topics, including (but not limited to) combustion and chemical systems; business, economics, and manufacturing; plasma physics and complex flows; computing and data mining; materials science and mechanics; and biology and ecology. All talks are intended for a general multidisciplinary audience and presented non-concurrently (no parallel sessions).
The University of California, San Diego is this year's meeting host.
Local organizing committee members are: Ramon Huerta, Herbert Levine, Wouter-Jan Rappel and Michael Todd.
