Call for Invited Speakers & Symposia Suggestions

The GSNP Program Committee invites you to submit proposals for Focus Sessions at the 2011 APS March Meeting. The 2011 March Meeting will be held in Dallas, Texas, March 21-25. We ask you to suggest Focus Session topics and speakers that will make the meeting interesting and effective for you. Typically, each Focus Session consists of contributed talks and 1-2 invited talks.

Proposals (guidelines below) should be emailed by the deadline of July 16 to Corey O'Hern, Chair of the 2011 Program Committee. The Program Committee will select the successful focus session proposals.

Proposal Guidelines:

  1. Your name, affiliation, email and phone number.
  2. A justification and summary of the focus session (up to 200 words).
  3. A justification/abstract for 1-2 invited speakers (up to 150 words per speaker).

We are looking forward to an exciting meeting in 2011. Your input at this stage is invaluable in making them a success!
