Gallery of Nonlinear Images at the March APS Meeting

The Group on Nonlinear and Statistical Physics of the APS hosts a Gallery of Images at the annual March APS Meeting in the exhibition area at the meeting.

The concept is simple: GSNP members can submit either a poster or a video related to statistical or nonlinear physics. The entries will be judged on the basis of both scientific and aesthetic merit; the winners of the competition will be announced at the business meeting of the GSNP on Tuesday of the March meeting. The 1st prize winners in each category (poster and video) will receive a $500 cash award. In addition, the winning poster entries will be published in color in the December issue of the journal Chaos and appear on the Chaos website. They will also be displayed at the November meeting of the Division of Fluid Dynamics.
