The Topical Group on Precision Measurement & Fundamental Constants is a subunit of the American Physical Society. Its objective is to serve as a focus for research related to investigating and testing the fundamental laws of physics and their underlying connections, determining fundamental constants, and developing and improving basic measurement standards, with special emphasis on the high precision experiments that are characteristic of such research.

Travel Support for Young Scientists
Each year, the Topical Group provides partial travel support to graduate students and post-docs to present contributed papers at scientific meetings in the area of precision measurement and fundamental constants. Support is available to attend either the GMPFC regular annual meeting, which normally alternates between the April APS meeting and the DAMOP meeting, or any other meeting in which GMPFC is sponsoring a contributed session.
