Topical Group on Magnetism and its Applications
The American Physical Society Topical Group on Magnetism and its Applications, or GMAG, represents one of the fastest-growing scientific sectors of the APS. At the 2007 APS March Meeting over 865 (14%) of the submitted abstracts were associated with magnetism.

Nobel Prize Reception
At the APS March Meeting, GMAG will sponsor a reception honoring Peter Grünberg and Albert Fert, 2007 Nobel Laureates in Physics. The reception will begin at 5:30PM in the Bissonet room at the Marriot Hotel on Wednesday, March 12, 2008. The reception will be followed by lectures by Grünberg and Fert starting at 6.30:
