Emanuele Mereghetti received his Bachelor of Science degree in 2005 from the Universita' degli Studi di Milano (Italy) and his Ph. D. in 2011 from the University of Arizona. He is currently working as postdoctoral researcher at Lawrence Berkeley National Laboratory (LBNL). His research has focused on Effective Field Theories (EFTs) of the strong interaction. In particular, with collaborators, he has set up a unitary framework, based on chiral perturbation theory, to describe in a model-independent way the manifestations of violation of time reversal symmetry in one, two, and three nucleon systems. His current research interests are low-energy probes of physics beyond the Standard Model, and the application of EFT ideas to LHC physics.
