The Laser Science Conference is the Annual Meeting of the Division of Laser Science, and includes the Symposium for Undergraduate Research. This meeting is traditionally run jointly with the Annual Meeting of OSA, now known as Frontiers in Optics (FiO). This year Laser Science XXVIII and FiO 2012 will be held October 14‑18, 2012 in Rochester, NY. The LS program chairs are Philippe Fauchet (University of Rochester) and David Villeneuve (National Research Council of Canada).
