The Hilton Fort Lauderdale Marina is the headquarters hotels for the DAMOP2018 meeting. Located on the Intracoastal Waterway, the HIlton is a short 5-minute walk to the Greater Fort Lauderdale/Broward County Convention Center. All scientific sessions and ancillary activities will take place at the Convention Center.

You can fly non-stop into the Fort Lauderdale-Hollywood International Airport from the following locations: Atlanta, Baltimore, Boston, Charlotte, Chicago, Dallas, Denver, Los Angeles, Minneapolis, New York (JFK/LGA), Phoenix, Portland, San Diego, San Francisco, Seattle and Washington DC (DCA/IAD).
Taxi and Shared Ride services have visible kiosks outside of each terminal's baggage claim area. Taxicab stands are centrally located at Fort Lauderdale-Hollywood International Airport and major hotels. Fares are $4.50 for the first mile, $2.40 for each additional mile and $.40 for each minute of waiting time. Shared-ride services are approximately $9 from the airport to Fort Lauderdale. You can also fly into the Miami International Airport. Miami is approximately 35 miles from Fort Lauderdale.
Palm Beach International Airport (PBI)

Palm Beach International Airport has non-stop flights from Atlanta, Baltimore, Chicago, Dallas, Minneapolis, Newark, Philadelphia, Pittsburgh, New York (JFK/LGA) St. Louis, and Washington DC (DCA). Palm Beach is approximately 50 miles from Fort Lauderdale.
Tri-Rail offers services between all three major South Florida Airports (FLL/MIA/PBI). Tri-Rail is the easiest way to travel in South Florida for business or pleasure with direct and convenient bus connections to the Fort Lauderdale/Hollywood International Airport, Miami International Airport and Palm Beach International Airport terminals. Fares as low as $2.50, onboard luggage racks on all trains and free parking at all train stations.

Fort Lauderdale Water Taxi
Think of it as a trolley on the water. Get on and off where you like for one all day price. Enjoy a leisurely cruise along Fort Lauderdale's world-famous waterways. Come to the beach, shop and dine on Las Olas Boulevard and see the cruise ships at Port Everglades. There are 12 pick up stops in Fort Lauderdale along the Intracoastal and downtown New River, and 3 stops in Hollywood. Your ticket allows you to hop on and off the boats all day. Your All Day Pass also links Fort Lauderdale and Hollywood. $26 all day pass, $21 Sr/Military (Seniors are age 65 or older), $12 child 5-11 (children 4 and under are free), Moonlight Madness – after 5pm $16. Must be purchased on board after 5pm. $225 annual pass (must be purchased at the Water Taxi Headquarters). Tickets are also valid for discounts at over 60 Cruise & Save partner shops, restaurants, and attractions. Important note:For ticketing and boarding, go directly to one of the water Taxi stops, not the office as Water Taxis do not depart from the office location. The Water Taxi is "More than just a boat ride".
