A Fond Farewell
 On September 13, APS hosted a reception on Capitol Hill in honor of the retiring Chairman of the House Science Committee, Sherwood Boehlert (R-NY). The event was attended by several members of Congress, Congressional staff, members of the Administration, and numerous representatives of the Washington science policy community. In the picture, APS President John Hopfield (right) expresses his appreciation to Boehlert for years of staunch support for science.
