Focus on APS Units

APS units provide opportunities for members to interact with colleagues with similar interests and to keep abreast of new developments in their specialized fields. Two series focusing on APS units have appeared in APS News. The first, Focus on APS Topical Groups, highlighted units who share an interest in a particular physics topic. The second series, Focus on APS Sections. Sections bring together physicists who are within an easy day's drive of one another.
