In 2005, APS commissioned A New World View, a four column glass block sculpture. Three of the columns focus on Einstein’s revolutionary ideas of 1905 and the fourth depicts his life. The sculpture has been hosted at different institutions since 2005 and was recently welcomed by North Adams High School of Seaman, Ohio, 2010 awardee of the Governor's Award for Excellence in Youth Science.
Pictured at the ceremony are (l to r): APS Head of Public Outreach, Rebecca Thompson; North Adams science teacher Randall Dunkin; Spanish teacher Olga Cruz; school principal Greg Grooms; and Stephen Caraway, a representative from the office of Congresswoman Jean Schmidt (R-OH).
