Is there a family leave policy for graduate students? If so, describe.

Graduate students entitled to the following short-term leaves of absence per calendar year. Leave requires advance notification and approval by your supervisor. 15 days of paid leave of absence 3 days of paid sick leave Parental leave (with pay) 30 consecutive days per calendar year upon the birth or adoption of a child

Is there family health insurance for graduate students? If so, is it included in the stipend?

Single coverage is paid for by the Department for Graduate assistships. Family coverage is offered but to be paid for by the student.
