Roster Search
Dear Colleague: Thank you for your interest in the APS Roster of Women and Minorities in Physics. The procedures for the Roster Search Request are the following:
- Fill out the Roster Search Request Form. Please note that the more parameters you select, the smaller the pool of available candidates.
A $100 fee is charged for each job search plus the price of postage for each piece of mail sent out. You will be billed for the service rendered after the mailing is completed.
Your request will be fulfilled based on the order of receipt of search requests and the deadline date for your mailing. The turnaround time for completing your search and mailing out the job announcement may vary; please give the APS Education and Outreach department at least two weeks.
Upon completion of the roster search, we will inform you of the number of candidates that fit your parameters. If you feel that the number of potential candidates does not match your expectations, you may change the parameters of your search, or you may stop the search process. If you decide to proceed, please send us your job announcements in your institutional mailing envelopes, unsealed and unstamped. An unsealed envelope is required because we include a note with the mailing which informs the potential job applications that their names have been kept confidential.
- Once we have completed the mailing, we will send you an invoice for the postage plus the $100 search and handling fee.
- If you receive any returned announcements that were sent out by APS, please forward them to us so that we may continue to update the names and addresses in our database.
