I am from Framingham, Massachusetts and am a rising sophomore at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology. I decided to study physics during the summer after the eighth grade when I started reading physics books and became really interested in stargazing. As I like to say, I fell in love with the sky. I would like to pursue astrophysical research for my post graduate studies in the future. At MIT, I am also involved in the Tech Catholic Community, freshmen advising, computer science, and dorm events.
I encourage others to consider physics as a career. It is an analytical, inquisitive science that seeks to answer the most fundamental philosophical questions about all the worlds around us and can be quite beautiful.
