Joseff Kolman
Massachusetts Institute of Technology

Background:

My name is Joseff Kolman, son of Mr. Kelly Kolman and Dr. Jennifer Kolman, and I am from Savannah, GA. During middle and high school, my parents stressed trying many different activities and academic subjects in order to discover my tastes and proclivities. Physics changed me like no other subject did. After going through just one introductory college physics class, I felt as if I had blinders removed. I saw the world from a different light. I saw beautiful equations lurking behind the normal surroundings – I was hooked, to say the least. I am now a student at Massachusetts Institute of Technology and I look forward to building a great foundation to become one of history’s ubiquitous members: a problem solver. In my spare time, I am an avid euphoniumist and classical music enthusiast.
