APS Journal Access for Developing Countries

APS strives to provide access to its journals to scientists in developing countries.

Iraqi Virtual Science Library

The Iraqi Virtual Science Library (IVSL) provides free access to scientific journals to institutions in Iraq.  APS is one of many publishers that are partners in IVSL.

ICTP's electronic Journals Delivery Service (eJDS)

The electronic Journals Delivery Service (eJDS) provides journal access to scientists at institutions in developing countries that do not have access to sufficient bandwidth, making it impossible or difficult to download material. Scientists receive individual mathematics and physics journal articles via e-mail.  APS journal articles are available through eJDS, which is administered by the Abdus Salam International Centre for Theoretical Physics (ICTP).

Free On-line Access for Sub-Saharan Africa & Bangladesh

APS offers free on-line access to its journals for institutions located in Sub-Saharan Africa and Bangladesh.  Not-for-profit institutions located in eligible countries can register to gain access. This offer is made available through the International Network for the Availability of Scientific Publications’ (INASP) Programme for the Enhancement of Research Information phase 2 (PERii).
