Chinese Physical Society 80th Anniversary

In August 2012, the Chinese Physical Society (CPS) celebrated its 80th anniversary. APS President Robert L. Byer attended the anniversary celebration along with representatives from the Institute of Physics (United Kingdom), the German Physical Society, the Physical Society of Hong Kong, the Japanese Society of Applied Physics, the Physical Society of Japan, the Association of Asia Pacific Physical Societies (AAPPS), and the European Physical Society.
