March Meeting registration is free for undergraduate members of APS (including affiliate members with SPS membership). Registration will enable students to attend the entire meeting, not just the Future of Physics Days.

Welcome to the March Future of Physics Days, 2013!  Once again, APS is teaming up with SPS at the March 2013 Meeting in Baltimore, MD to host a number of special events just for undergraduates.  Events will take place in the Baltimore Convention Center (BCC) and the Baltimore Hilton.

Graduate School Fair 

This year we're bringing in dozens of graduate school recruiters to meet with students to answer questions about their programs.  Join us for a special Graduate School Fair reception on Tuesday, March 19 in the Student Lounge (in the Registration area)  to enjoy refreshments and meet the recruiters! Future of Physics Days T-Shirts

Congratulations to Kaitlin Vandemark of Cleveland State University for her winning t-shirt design! A final version of Kaitlin's concept will be printed on FREE t-shirts for undergraduate students attending the March meeting!  Students may pick up their free t-shirt at the Student Lounge.

Undergraduate Students and their Mentors are invited to enjoy some wonderful food and participate in an open discussion with a panel of working physicists representing diverse career paths. Refreshments will be served.

Graduate School Fair
Monday - Wednesday, March 18 - 20
10:00 - 4:00 p.m.
BCC, Student Lounge Area (near Registration)
Join us for an opportunity to enjoy some light refreshments and to meet with representatives from several universities to learn more about their graduate research programs! Student Reception
Tuesday, March 19
5:30 - 7:30 p.m.

BCC, Key Ballroom 5
Student attendees are invited to relax, have fun, and learn about programs and resources offered by APS and FGSA to serve student members. In the second half of this event, winning presenters from SPS oral and poster sessions will be recognized and given special awards, and all students will receive a token of recognition for their achievements. All students will have a chance to network with working physicists, graduates, and other undergraduate students. Light refreshments and beverages will be served.
