April Meeting registration is free for undergraduate members of APS (including affiliate members with SPS membership). Registration will enable students to attend the entire meeting, not just the Future of Physics Days.

Welcome to the April Future of Physics Days, 2013!  Once again, APS is teaming up with SPS at the April 2013 Meeting in Denver, CO to host a number of special events just for undergraduates.  All events will take place in the Sheraton Denver Downtown Hotel.

The Undergraduate Epitome is publication listing sessions which may be of special interest to undergraduates.  Browse through the Undergraduate Epitome before you come to the meeting, and see what interests you.

Come present your research in special SPS sessions! Winning presenters will receive recognition and prizes at the Student Awards Brunch (see description below).

Career Panel and Networking Reception
Friday, April 12

Join us for a lively panel discussion with working physicists from a diversity of career and degree paths.  Students are encouraged to bring their curiosity about physics careers to this reception, where they can enjoy refreshments while networking with panelists and other students.

Undergraduate Lunch and Grad Panel
Saturday, April 13
12:00 - 1:30 p.m.
Plaza Court 3

Enjoy some light refreshments and interact with our panel of graduate students, who will be on-hand to answer all of your burning questions about Graduate School. Topics of discussion will include choosing a graduate school, balancing teaching workload and coursework, qualifying exams, and more!

Undergraduate Awards Brunch
Sunday, April 14
10:00 - 11:30 a.m.
Tower Court D
Winning presenters from SPS oral and poster sessions will be recognized and given special awards, and all students will receive a token of recognition for their achievements.  Light refreshments and beverages will be served.
