National Physics Teacher Education Task Force
Increasing Number and Excellence of Physics Education Degrees
The National Physics Teacher Education Task Force was established to identify programs and methods that recruit students for physics teacher education programs as well as common for best practices that produce qualified physics teachers. The Task Force is a joint effort by APS, AIP (American Institute of Physics), and AAPT (American Association of Physics Teachers). A report outlining strategies, best practices, and implications of findings, will be published early 2010.
