By Ed Lee/APS A high school physics teacher at the April 2008 APS Teachers Day investigates diffraction with a variable slit system constructed of pencils and rubber bands.At both the March and April meetings, the APS Education & Diversity Department produces a High School Physics Teachers' Day, which offers professional development to local physics teachers at no cost. Teachers' Days offer presentations on physics and education research, hands-on workshops on teaching, and lunch with physicists.
