In partnership with the Association of Public and Land-grant Universities (APLU), APS produced a booklet on the history of the Society's involvement in education.

The work was supported in part by a grant from the National Science Foundation to APLU for a Mathematics & Science Partnership/Research, Evaluation and Technical Assistance (RETA) project entitled "Promoting Institutional Change to Strengthen Science Teacher Preparation".
