Lobbying Efforts

APS Washington Office's lobbying efforts include presentations, organizing Congressional visits, and writing letters to Congress to support basic scientific research—the linchpin of technological innovations that make our economy thrive. Our efforts underscore the importance of federal support for basic research as it relates to our country's competitiveness with other countries such as China and India.
