Agreement for Reciprocal Membership Privileges and Co-operation between APS and the Institute of Physics

1. Membership Privileges

The American Physical Society agrees to extend reciprocal membership privileges as defined below to individual members of the Institute of Physics and the Institute of Physics agrees to extend reciprocal membership privileges as defined below to individual members of the American Physical Society.

1. Members of the Institute of Physics may submit papers to American Physical Society meetings with the same privileges and limitations as American Physical Society members;
2. Institute of Physics members may register at American Physical Society meetings at the American Physical Society member rates.

Conversely,

1. Members of the American Physical Society may submit papers to Institute of Physics meetings with the same privileges and limitations as Institute of Physics members;
2. American Physical Society members may register at Institute of Physics meetings at Institute of Physics member rates.

2. Information Exchange

The American Physical Society and the Institute of Physics will, on a regular basis, exchange information about planned conferences, symposia, specialised seminars, summer schools and other meetings which may be of interest to physicists in the other country.

3. Duration of Agreement

This agreement shall remain in force until either the American Physical Society or the Institute of Physics gives 12 months' notice of termination or a wish to renegotiate the agreement.
