Audiovisual (AV) Equipment for Sessions

All oral sessions will be equipped with one LCD projector, one Windows-based PC laptop, one overhead projector, one screen, lavaliere microphone, and one laser pointer. It is not necessary to bring your laptop, if your presentation has been downloaded to a memory stick or a CD, you will be able to use the laptop provided. However, whichever mechanism you utilize you must first visit the Speaker-Ready Room to test your presentation with a technician to ensure successful connectivity in your session for your presentation. This will ensure the sessions run smoothly. Speakers using LCD projectors may wish to bring back-up transparencies in case of a technical problem. Presenters are not allowed to use personal projectors at the annual meeting.

Audiovisual Special Instructions:
Complete audiovisual instructions provided by AVMG.

Audiovisual Equipment in Poster Sessions
Electrical connections will be available at all poster sites, and small tables for laptops will be provided free if requested from Terry Gaier by September 19.

If you require additional AV equipment it can be rented by contacting Lee Warren at AVMG. Additional equipment must be paid for with a check, credit card, or cash before the start of the requester's session.

Americans with Disabilities Act Statement

The APS wishes to take any steps required to ensure that no individual with a disability is excluded, denied services, segregated or otherwise treated differently due to the absence of auxiliary aids and services identified in the Americans with Disabilities Act.
