Full Meeting Information

October 19-20, 2007
University of Connecticut, Department of Physics
Storrs, CT

The Fall 2007 joint meeting of the NES-APS/AAPT is scheduled for October 19-20, 2007 on the campus of the University of Connecticut in Storrs, CT. The technical program focuses on "Carbon in the 21st Century". We have invited speakers to address different branches of physics with the common thread of modern day carbon, including carbon nanotubes, fullerenes, and graphene.

The AAPT program is comprised of workshops, contributed speakers, and poster sessions, while the APS program includes contributed speakers and poster sessions in addition to the plenary sessions.

The Joint APS/AAPT Meeting is being held in conjunction with the University of Connecticut, Institute of Materials Science Bio-Nanotechnology Conference which is being held the morning of Friday, October 19, 2007, just before the joint APS/AAPT Meeting.
