Twist, Rattle, and Hop: Colloidal Clusters
This video shows how three rhombi of four spheres each (green, blue, and orange), twist to the opposite chirality around the central sphere. In the video, the cluster is occasionally rotated about its vertical axis to show the front and back of the cluster. These complex interactions can be exploited to drive self-assembly.
