Protecting Privacy with Quantum Computing

Researchers worry that if quantum computers are realized in the next few years, only a few specialized facilities will be able to host them. This may leave users’ privacy vulnerable. To combat this worry, scientists have proposed a “blind” quantum computer that uses polarization-entangled photonic qubits.
