Rippled Graphene

A depiction of a rippled graphene surface with defects.
Using graphene simulations, researchers have found that if graphene is wrinkled, its magnetic properties are less detectable. Scientists hope to use these simulations to better understand graphene’s intrinsic magnetic properties.
