Multiscale Human Mobility Network

Visualization of human mobility networks showing short-range multimodal transportation and airline connections worldwide The human mobility network is constructed by collecting and aggregating short range commuting data from more than 35 countries in 5 continents and airline flow data from 3362 air transportation hubs in 220 countries worldwide. The colors and thickness of the connections refer to the intensity of the flow in number of traveling individuals.
