TMS APS ICME 2008 ProgramMarch 9, 2008 through March 12, 2008
Ernest N. Morial Convention Center
New Orleans, Louisiana

In March 2008, the Minerals, Metals and Materials Society (TMS) and the American Physical Society (APS) will be holding overlapping technical conferences at the Ernest N. Morial Convention Center in New Orleans, Louisiana. Between March 9, 2008 and March 12, 2008, TMS and APS will be holding collaborative programming highlighting advancements in integrated computational materials engineering (ICME).

The following symposia will be open to attendees of both the TMS 2008 Annual Meeting and the APS March Meeting 2008:

  • Creating the ICME Cyberinfrastructure: An Interdisciplinary Technology Forum (TMS)
  • Frontiers of Computational Materials Science (APS)
  • 9th Global Innovations Symposium: Trends in Integrated Computational Materials Engineering for Materials Processing and Manufacturing (TMS)
  • Materials Informatics: Enabling Integration of Modeling and Experiments in Materials Science (TMS / APS)
  • Computational Thermodynamics and Kinetics (TMS)

As detailed in the attached technical program, this partnership brings together the resources of both societies for the benefit of all meeting attendees, with extensive technical programming on all areas pertaining to the evolving field of integrated computational materials engineering.
